LOCTITE® SI 5699 is a flexible, form-in-place RTV silicone sealant that cures at room temperature when exposed to moisture in the air, forming a tough rubber gasket.
It becomes tack-free after approximately 10 minutes and can be applied to flexible, machined or cast surfaces, including metal and plastic. It is commonly used for flange sealing and rigid flange sealing, such as transmissions and cast metal housings, especially in applications requiring water-glycol resistance.
