The Mitutoyo 500-172-30 AOS Absolute Digimatic Caliper has a measuring range of 8″ / 200 mm with 0.0005″ / 0.01 mm resolution and includes SPC data output.
This caliper is equipped with exclusive AOS sensor technology (Advanced Onsite Sensor), which improves measurement dependability by increasing resistance to harsh workshop conditions. The electromagnetic inductive (AOS) sensor reduces errors caused by dirt, oil, and water. The ABS sensor eliminates the need to reset the reference when powering on. The battery life has been increased to 3.5 years under normal use. It is fully compatible with existing Mitutoyo Digimatic peripherals, including SPC cables and U-Wave wireless transmitters.
