The Mitutoyo 500-197-30 AOS Absolute Digimatic Caliper has a measuring range of 0–8″ with 0.0005″ resolution.
This next-generation electronic caliper keeps track of its origin point once set, so the large LCD displays the actual slider position whenever the caliper is powered on. No repeated zero setting is necessary thanks to the absolute encoder technology, eliminating concerns about overspeed errors.
