The Mitutoyo 293-240-30 Digimatic Micrometer features the NEW electromagnetic ABSOLUTE sensor, improving resistance to environmental conditions such as dirt, oil, and water that can cause false readings. This coolant-proof micrometer has a measuring range of 25–50 mm and includes a ratchet stop for consistent measuring force.
The Series is IP65 rated, enabling use in environments exposed to cutting oil. It also features a zero-set key for easy origin setting, carbide-tipped measuring faces, automatic power on/off, data hold, and alarms for low voltage and counting value composition errors. The micrometer is supplied in a fitted plastic case and supports both metric and imperial readings.
